An urgent-care free clinic for people 18 and older is being offered by New Covenant Community Services and Bethany Assembly of God to provide non-emergency care by a Christian physician, nursing staff and behavioral health counselor. The staff is all volunteers, and there will be no revenue collected for services provided. There will be a demographic check-in, medical assessment, behavioral assessment (if needed), prayer and check-out. The clinic will be here at Bethany the first Tuesday of each month (next session, February 7), 6 – 8 p.m. in Room 103. All medical records will be kept confidential. This is not a primary care facility provider, but is intended and designed to serve the community for urgent, non-emergency medical issues, offering assistance to people unable to afford medical care due to lack of insurance coverage and/or limited finances.
