Choir

The Bethany Choir is a group of men and women from all walks of life who are dedicated to worshipping God with their musical gifts. They sing in all Sunday services, providing a special song in each, and are the catalyst for worship at Bethany. Membership in Bethany Assembly of God is a prerequisite for joining the choir, and a vocal placement audition with the Minister of Music is the next step. The highest priority however, is to worship the Lord with passion and zeal, giving to the Lord the glory due Him!

In addition to regular Sunday ministry, the Bethany Choir along with the Bethany Orchestra, presents two great outreaches to the community with the Easter "Golgotha" presentation and the holiday spectacular "Singing Christmas Tree.

Drama

The Bethany Drama department is the creative arts arm of Bethany Assembly, releasing men and women to use their gift of drama to "bring to life" musical presentations and sermon illustrations. Having a high-profile presentation at Easter with Bethany's "Golgotha" and at Christmas with the "Singing Christmas Tree", the Bethany Drama department provides the opportunity for those who have the dramatic gifts to be utilized within the church.

Orchestra

The Bethany Orchestra is the instrumental complement to the Bethany Choir, providing high-energy accompaniment as well as a special dynamic to our worship services. Consisting of the rhythm section, brass, woodwinds, synthesized strings, and percussion, the Bethany Orchestra plays in all Sunday services. Entrance into the orchestra is by audition and membership in Bethany Assembly is a prerequisite. eMinistry

eMinistry stands for Electronic Ministry and consists of Sound, Video, Presentation, Production, and Lighting. We are continuing to build these areas of ministry and are looking for men and women with the talent and training to join with us in eMinistry.

Our sound department runs a Midas Verona 48 channel board to an EV cluster for the FOH system. Sound production includes a 32-8 bus Mackie board, an Alesis HD-24 digital recorder, and ProTools running on a Mac G4 platform. In our video department, 3 JVC digital cameras, through an Echolab switcher, capture video straight to DVD, to DV tape, and is also fed to Final Cut Pro HD running on a Mac G5 platform, allowing us to edit and produce television quality video in high-definition.

The presentation department utilizes MediaShout to project graphics, lyrics, video, animation and live feeds from multiple sources to two 10' x 15' Daylite screens in the sanctuary, enhancing worship and making the message of the Gospel visually relevant. Lighting is coordinated by the presentation department, creating an atmosphere conducive to the message, the music, and the media.

eMinistry is continually striving to present the best of Bethany through electronic media. For those with special gifts and talents in these areas, Bethany will "plug you in!"
