New Ladies Bible Study

Every Tuesday morning starting June 8, a new ladies bible study, “A Beautiful Mind” by Beth Moore, will be in the Fireplace Room at 10am. This is a five week DVD study. There will be no workbook or homework. Class discussions will be facilitated by Roseann Harding. There will be prayer in the Memorial Chapel at 9am.

In Beth Moore’s new series, A Beautiful Mind, she covers how the enemy is out to steal, kill and destroy you with fear, which is the root of rejection, insecurity and jealousy. For more information about this exciting study, see Beth Moore’s Website.

Fashioned For Him Women’s Conference

On April 9-10, join women of all ages (must be at least 14 yrs) as we worship our creator and discover how we were fashioned for Him according to Psalm 139:14-16. The weekend will be packed with pampering, a fashion show, powerful worship services, a timely word from guest speaker, Joanne Cole, women’s ministry director from Capital Christian Center in Sacramento, California and performances by guest artist, Jillian Daco from Kansas City’s Storling Dance Company. In Touch Bible Study

Tuesday, December 15th will be the last class until January 2010.  The 10:00 a.m. class will be doing an ornament exchange, so please come with an ornament costing no more than $7.  The 7:00 p.m. class is cancelled.

Please join us as we continue to study Fearless by Max Lucado. The book is available in the Fruit of the Vine Book Shoppe at Bethany. The class meets in the Fireplace Room every Tuesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. with prayer in the chapel at 9 a.m. and will continue until February 16. A new eleven-week study will begin March 9: Breaking Free, revised edition, by Beth Moore. Hosted by Pat Adams.

LADIES’ TEA

Ladies, please join us this Tuesday, October 27, 7 p.m. as we gather together to welcome and hear from Ambika Padey of Project Rescue, Calcutta, India. When Mother Theresa’s order came to the Assemblies of God mission and asked for someone to take over the Bible classes for the children in the red-light district, Ambika quickly volunteered. This was the beginning of Project Rescue. Please sign up at the Hospitality Counter.
