We need ten to fifteen men to help with this project; lunch will be provided.  If you can help (even part of the day), please see Pastor Ken so an accurate lunch count can be obtained.  The platform will be cleared after the Sunday evening service, March 14, in anticipation of the Monday work day; any and all help will be appreciated at that time as well.

Haiti Earthquake Crisis Relief

As you know, the already impoverished nation of Haiti suffered a 7.0 magnitude earthquake Tuesday night, January 12, 2010. The capital city of Port Au Prince is in virtual ruins and the death toll could climb to 100,000. Together as a church—as His church—we cry out to God and ask for His strength, peace, understanding and comfort for the victims of this devastating catastrophe.

We may not be able to travel there to help, but we can still make an impact from home. Convoy of Hope is a nonprofit organization that provides disaster relief, supply lines and outreaches to the poor and disaster-stricken in the United States and around the world. Convoy of Hope is the official disaster relief partner of the the Assemblies of God. They had an extensive church network established well before the earthquake and were able act swiftly as soon as the disaster struck. When donating to Convoy of Hope, $1 can usually be stretched to $10 worth of goods. Please make a donation today by clicking through to their website.
